Lis Wiehl was born August 19, 1962 and was previously a Fox News legal analyst.
She's an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School, and formerly was an associate professor at the University of Washington Law School. She was a legal commentator on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual as well as National Public Radio. She has a weekly appearance in The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly. Wiehl is a Yakima native who graduated from West Valley High School. She earned her bachelor's at Barnard College, followed by an MA in literature from the University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the US Attorney's office. She also worked as a legal reporter for NPR's All Things Considered. She was the deputy chief investigating counsel for Democrats from the House Judiciary Committee, during the impeachment of Clinton. She was a law professor with tenure in the University of Washington School of Law Seattle between 1995 and 2001. Wiehl worked as an analyst for Fox News legal analyst from 2001-2017.
